ITI Draftsman
Job Role : An ITI Draftsman is responsible for preparing technical drawings, plans, and detailed diagrams based on engineering specifications. The role involves using drafting tools or CAD software to support design, construction, and manufacturing processes with accurate and precise drawings.
Key Responsibilities : Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and instructions to prepare detailed drawings. Create 2D drawings and layout plans using drafting tools or CAD software (AutoCAD, etc.). Draft mechanical components / civil structures with accurate dimensions and tolerances. Update and revise drawings based on engineer or supervisor feedback. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications. Maintain and organize drawing files, documentation, and revision records. Assist engineers in preparing bill of materials (BOM) and project estimates. Conduct site measurements or coordinate with production teams when required. Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and clarity.
