Jr. Chemist
Job Role : Chief Chemist is responsible for leading and managing all chemical laboratory operations, ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of all products and processes. This role oversees analytical testing, research and development, quality control, laboratory staff, and adherence to industry standards. The Chief Chemist provides technical expertise to support production, product improvement, and innovation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities : Conduct routine chemical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for analysis. Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (e.g., spectrometers, pH meters, titrators). Record, analyze, and report test results accurately. Assist senior chemists in research, product development, and method validation. Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety protocols, and proper chemical storage. Calibrate equipment and ensure correct functionality of laboratory tools. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines. Support documentation for audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
