Education Counsellor
Job Role : Education Counsellor provides guidance and support to students regarding academic choices, career planning, personal development, and educational opportunities. This role helps students make informed decisions, improve performance, and achieve their academic and career goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide academic guidance to students on subject selection, study plans, and curriculum choices.
Assist students in setting short-term and long-term educational and career goals.
Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to address academic, personal, or social issues.
Support students in improving study habits, time management, and exam preparation strategies.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents, teachers, and management.
Assist in college, university, or vocational course applications and career guidance.
Organize workshops, seminars, and sessions on career awareness, soft skills, and personality development.
Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, assessments, and student progress.
Liaise with teachers, parents, and external organizations to support student development.
Stay updated on educational trends, career opportunities, and entrance exams.
