Regional Sales Manager (Pharmaceutical)

Job Role : Regional Sales Manager (Pharmaceutical) is responsible for achieving regional sales targets, managing and developing a team of Medical Representatives and Area Managers, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, distributors, and pharmacies within the region. 

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Achieve regional sales targets and market share growth for assigned pharma products.
  • Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate Medical Representatives (MRs) and Area Sales Managers (ASMs).
  • Plan and execute regional sales strategies, doctor coverage plans, and promotional activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, chemists, and distributors.
  • Ensure proper implementation of company marketing strategies, product campaigns, and CME programs.
  • Monitor field activities through joint fieldwork, sales reviews, and performance assessments.
  • Track competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs within the region.
  • Ensure timely reporting, sales forecasting, territory planning, and MIS submissions.
  • Manage distribution network, inventory levels, and product availability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, ethical guidelines, and company policies.
  • Support new product launches and ensure maximum visibility in the market.
