Car Technician
Job Role : Car Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. This role involves conducting inspections, performing routine maintenance, identifying mechanical issues, and completing repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards and dealership procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
- Repair or replace faulty parts including brakes, suspension, engines, and systems.
- Test and verify repairs to ensure proper vehicle performance and safety.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines, technical service bulletins, and safety procedures.
- Document repairs, parts used, and labor times accurately in repair orders.
- Communicate findings and repair needs to service advisors or supervisors.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area.
- Stay updated with new automotive technologies, repair techniques, and training.
