Quality Engineer

Job Role : Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and comply with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry codes. The role involves conducting inspections, implementing quality control procedures, monitoring site execution, and coordinating with project teams to achieve high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Develop and implement quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) policies for construction projects.
  • Inspect materials, workmanship, and site activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct stage-by-stage site inspections (shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, finishing, etc.).
  • Prepare and maintain quality checklists, inspection reports, test reports, and QA/QC documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site engineers to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements on site.
  • Monitor the performance of materials through laboratory and on-site testing (concrete, steel, soil, etc.).
  • Identify defects, propose corrective actions, and follow up on rectification.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and implement continuous improvement practices.
  • Support handover process by ensuring snag-free completion of work.
