Laboratory Assistant
Job Role : Laboratory Assistant supports the academic and research activities of the engineering college by maintaining lab equipment, assisting faculty and students, and ensuring a safe and organized laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist faculty and students during practical sessions and experiments
- Prepare and set up lab equipment, apparatus, and materials for experiments
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of chemicals, tools, and equipment
- Monitor lab safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain records of experiments, inventory, and lab usage
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, lab manuals, and documentation
- Support research projects and special technical demonstrations as required
