Primary Teacher
Job Role: Primary Teacher in an English medium school is responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and effective learning environment for young learners. The teacher delivers the curriculum in English, supports students’ academic, social, and emotional development, and fosters strong foundational skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in English as per the prescribed curriculum
Teach core subjects (English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, etc.) usingEnglish as the medium of instruction
Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in English Create a child-friendly, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Use age-appropriate teaching methods, activities, and educational aids
Assess students’ progress through classwork, homework, tests, and observations
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents
Identify learning difficulties and provide additional support when needed
Encourage discipline, good manners, and positive values
Participate in school activities, staff meetings, training, and events
Collaborate with colleagues and school administration
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior
