Estimation Engineer
Job Role : Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, analyzing project requirements, and supporting project planning and budgeting. They ensure that estimates are realistic, comprehensive, and aligned with project specifications and market rates.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for real estate and construction projects
- Analyze architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Conduct quantity take-offs and material requirement calculations
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors for technical clarifications
- Research current market rates of materials, labor, and equipment
- Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) and cost comparison reports
- Assist in budget preparation and project financial planning
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Monitor project costs and provide recommendations to optimize expenses
- Support the tendering and bidding process for new projects
- Maintain records of previous estimates and project cost data
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project standards
