Mechanic
Job Role :Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles in a showroom or authorized service center. The role ensures vehicles are maintained according to company standards and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform vehicle inspection, servicing, and routine maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
- Repair or replace faulty parts using proper tools and equipment
- Conduct pre-delivery inspection (PDI) of new vehicles
- Test vehicles after service to ensure proper functioning
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop
- Update job cards and service records accurately
- Assist service executives with technical explanations when needed
- Ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of jobs
