Job Role : Store Assistant is responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the company’s store by managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, spare parts, and components required for production and projects. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks, and assisting in physical audits to ensure material availability at all times.

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Receive, inspect, and store engineering materials, components, and spare parts.
  • Issue materials to production, projects, or departments as per requisitions.
  • Maintain proper inventory records and update stock ledgers.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and assist in physical audits.
  • Ensure proper labeling, packing, and organization of materials.
  • Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the Store Manager.
  • Coordinate with procurement and project teams for timely material availability.
  • Assist in maintaining store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.
  • Support documentation and record-keeping for stock movement and receipts.
