Job Role :  Instrumentation Head is responsible for overseeing all instrumentation systems and automation in the manufacturing facility. This role ensures optimal performance, maintenance, and calibration of process control equipment, instruments, and automation systems. The position also involves leading a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Lead and manage the instrumentation and automation team, including engineers and technicians
  • Design, install, commission, and maintain process control instruments and automation systems
  • Ensure calibration, testing, and proper functioning of all instruments and sensors
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to optimize process performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation and control system issues promptly
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve instrumentation and automation efficiency
  • Prepare budgets, reports, and performance metrics for instrumentation systems
