Job Role :  Branch Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of a bank branch, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving business targets, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal policies. This role involves leading branch staff, developing customer relationships, promoting banking products, and driving financial performance while upholding the cooperative banking principles.

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Manage day-to-day branch operations, including cash management, account operations, loans, and customer services
  • Achieve business growth targets by promoting banking products and services to individuals, cooperatives, and small businesses
  • Lead, train, and motivate branch staff to ensure high levels of performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor compliance with RBI guidelines, banking regulations, and internal policies
  • Review and approve loan applications, credit facilities, and other financial services within delegated authority
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure timely submission to higher management
  • Handle customer grievances, resolve issues, and build strong relationships with account holders
