Business Development Officer
Job Role : Business Development Officer is responsible for expanding the membership base, increasing deposits and loan business, promoting financial products, and strengthening customer relationships in accordance with cooperative principles and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Promote the Patsanstha’s financial products such as savings accounts, fixed deposits, recurring deposits, and loan schemes Enroll new members and increase existing member participation
- Generate deposits and loan business as per targets Identify potential customers and business opportunities in assigned areas
- Conduct field visits, member meetings, and awareness programs
- Assist members with account opening, loan applications, and documentation
- Maintain strong relationships with members and ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow up on loan recovery and overdue accounts (as per policy)
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance and progress reports
- Ensure compliance with cooperative laws, bye-laws, and internal policies
