Sales Officer
Job Role : Sales Officer is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s agricultural and building material products by developing strong relationships with customers, dealers, and distributors. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, achieving assigned sales targets, conducting market visits, and providing product information and technical guidance to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, contractors, dealers, retailers, and distributors.
- Promote and sell agricultural products (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, irrigation products) and/or building materials (cement, steel, bricks, tiles, sand, hardware).
- Identify new markets, customers, and business opportunities in assigned territories.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and revenue goals.
- Conduct market surveys to understand customer needs, pricing, and competitor activities.
- Provide product demonstrations, technical guidance, and after-sales support to customers.
- Collect customer feedback and coordinate with the technical and marketing teams for improvements.
- Ensure timely order processing, delivery coordination, and payment collection.
- Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and customer databases.
- Participate in promotional activities, exhibitions, field visits, and dealer meetings.
