Job Role : Supermarket Store Manager is responsible for the overall operation and performance of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient staff management, effective inventory control, and achievement of sales and profitability targets. The role involves maintaining store standards, managing daily operations, aSupermarket Store Managernd ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
- Manage, train, and supervise store staff, including scheduling and performance monitoring.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and handle customer complaints effectively.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets.
- Manage inventory levels, stock ordering, receiving, and proper storage of goods.
- Ensure accurate pricing, billing, and cash handling procedures.
- Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and visual merchandising standards.
- Monitor product quality, expiry dates, and minimize wastage and shrinkage.
- Prepare sales, stock, and performance reports for management.
