Data Operator
Job Role : Data Operator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and updating the supermarket’s digital records and databases. This role ensures accurate data entry for sales, inventory, purchases, and customer information, supporting smooth store operations and management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate data related to sales, inventory, purchases, and suppliers in computer systems.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management on sales, stock levels, and other operational metrics.
- Maintain proper digital records of invoices, receipts, and other store documents.
- Verify and cross-check data accuracy before entry and reporting.
- Coordinate with store staff, accounts, and inventory teams to collect required data.
- Assist in inventory management by updating stock levels in the system.
- Support billing, POS, and customer database management when needed.
- Ensure data confidentiality and follow company procedures for record-keeping.
- Identify and report discrepancies or errors in records.
