Clerk
Job Role : Clerk is responsible for handling day-to-day administrative and operational tasks, including assisting members or customers, managing transactions, maintaining accurate records and data entry, preparing reports, and supporting senior staff. The clerk ensures compliance with cooperative rules, helps with documentation and verification processes, and contributes to the smooth functioning of the office.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist members/customers and provide information on accounts and services.
- Handle daily transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payments accurately.
- Maintain and update physical and digital records, ledgers, and data entries.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and other office documents.
- Ensure compliance with cooperative society rules and assist with verification processes (e.g., KYC).
- Support senior staff in clerical, administrative, and operational tasks.
- Manage routine office work such as scheduling, filing, and record organization.
