Market Development Officer
Job Role : Market Development Officer is responsible for expanding the market presence of the company’s Tulsi seed products by identifying new markets, developing distributor and dealer networks, promoting product awareness, and driving sales growth. The role involves close interaction with farmers, agri-input dealers, distributors, research institutions, and agricultural bodies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and expand markets for Tulsi seed products Identify new distributors, dealers, and bulk buyers
- Achieve assigned sales and market growth targets
- Conduct market surveys and collect farmer feedback
- Promote Tulsi seeds through field visits and demos
- Organize farmer meetings, trials, and awareness programs
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, and strategies
- Support distributors and ensure proper market coverage
- Coordinate with production and R&D for market feedback
- Assist in launching new Tulsi seed varieties
- Participate in agri exhibitions and trade fairs
