Lab Assistant
Job Role : Science Lab Assistant supports science teachers by preparing laboratory equipment, maintaining lab safety, and assisting students during practical experiments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare laboratory equipment and materials for science experiments
- Assist teachers and students during practical classes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the science laboratory
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals
- Maintain inventory of lab equipment, chemicals, and consumables
- Report damaged or missing equipment to the concerned authority
- Follow laboratory safety rules and school policies
- Help in setting up demonstrations and science projects
- Support laboratory maintenance and basic repairs
- Assist during science exhibitions and practical examinations
