Job Role :  Cashier in an Electronic Goods company is responsible for handling all cash and digital payment transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring a smooth billing experience for customers. The role includes preparing bills, maintaining transaction records, coordinating with sales and accounts teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The cashier plays a key role in customer satisfaction, financial accuracy, and daily revenue management. 

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Handle cash, card, UPI, and other digital payment transactions
  • Prepare accurate bills and invoices for electronic goods and accessories
  • Operate billing software and POS systems efficiently
  • Maintain daily cash register and ensure proper cash balance
  • Verify prices, discounts, taxes (GST), and promotional offers
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges as per company policy
  • Maintain records of sales, returns, and cancellations
  • Deposit daily cash collections and prepare cash reports
  • Coordinate with accounts department for payment reconciliation
  • Assist customers with billing queries and payment issues
  • Ensure proper handling of high-value electronic items
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cash counter
  • Follow company procedures for cash handling and security
