Job Role :  HR Manager in a construction company is responsible for planning, developing, and managing human resource functions to support project operations and business goals. This role ensures effective workforce planning, recruitment, compliance with labor laws, employee relations, performance management, and safety culture across construction sites and corporate offices. The HR Manager works closely with project managers and senior leadership to maintain a skilled, motivated, and compliant workforce.

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems aligned with construction industry standards
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for site staff, engineers, supervisors, and office personnel
  • Coordinate manpower planning based on project timelines and requirements
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and contract labor requirements
  • Handle employee onboarding, induction, and exit processes
  • Manage payroll coordination, attendance, leave, and benefits administration
  • Address employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions
  • Support performance appraisal processes and employee development initiatives
  • Promote workplace safety, health, and welfare in coordination with site management
  • Maintain HR records, reports, and documentation for audits and inspections
