Chartered Accountant
Job Role : Chartered Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial management, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting for construction projects and corporate operations. The role involves planning and controlling project finances, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, managing audits, advising management on financial decisions, and supporting profitability through effective cost control and risk management across multiple construction projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee accounting and financial management of construction projects
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations
- Manage GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances
- Prepare and review financial statements and MIS reports
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability
- Review client billing, revenue recognition, and contract accounting
- Handle statutory, internal, and tax audits
- Manage cash flow, fund planning, and working capital
- Advise management on financial planning and investment decisions
- Ensure timely filing of returns and statutory reports
- Evaluate financial risks and implement control measures
- Supervise accounting team and review their work
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and authorities
- Support contract evaluation, tender costing, and pricing decisions
