Job Role :   Store Manager is responsible for managing the procurement, storage, and distribution of construction materials, tools, and equipment at the site or central store. The role ensures proper inventory control, timely supply to projects, compliance with safety and documentation standards, and efficient coordination with project teams, procurement, and accounts departments to support smooth project execution. 

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the store/warehouse
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and equipment
  • Issue materials and tools to construction sites as per requisitions
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
  • Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification
  • Coordinate with procurement and accounts for purchase orders and invoices
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials
  • Implement safety and security measures in the store
  • Track material usage and report discrepancies
  • Support cost control and budget management
  • Supervise store staff and maintain discipline
  • Ensure timely reporting of material consumption and inventory status
