Tempo Driver
Job Role : Tempo Driver is responsible for transporting construction materials, equipment, and personnel between construction sites, warehouses, and suppliers safely and efficiently. The role involves ensuring timely delivery, maintaining the tempo/vehicle in good condition, and adhering to road safety rules and company policies. The driver supports smooth project operations by coordinating with site teams and procurement staff.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive tempo/mini trucks to transport construction materials and equipment
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery to construction sites or warehouses
- Load and unload materials safely, with support from helpers
- Conduct daily vehicle inspection and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain logbooks, delivery notes, and vehicle documents
- Report vehicle issues, breakdowns, or accidents immediately
- Follow traffic rules, company policies, and site safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors and procurement team for delivery schedules
- Assist in minor on-site material handling as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and proper care of the tempo
