Senior Engineer
Job Role : Senior Engineer is responsible for overseeing technical and engineering aspects of construction projects, ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role involves supervising site engineers, coordinating with project managers, managing resources, providing technical guidance, and supporting project planning and execution. The Senior Engineer plays a key role in maintaining project quality, efficiency, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and guide site engineers and junior engineering staff
- Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Ensure work is executed according to approved plans and quality standards
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress and prepare technical reports
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on materials and workmanship
- Identify and resolve technical and on-site issues
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental regulations
- Provide technical inputs for cost estimation and procurement
- Support audits, client inspections, and project documentation
- Mentor and train junior engineers on site practices and standards
