Job Role :  Production Manager in a Hydraulic Products Manufacturing Company is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling production activities to ensure efficient manufacturing of hydraulic components and systems. The role focuses on achieving production targets, maintaining product quality, optimizing resources, and ensuring safety and process compliance. The Production Manager works closely with design, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth and cost-effective production operations.

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Plan and schedule production activities as per demand and capacity
  • Ensure timely production of hydraulic products meeting quality standards
  • Supervise shop-floor operations and production teams
  • Monitor production efficiency, output, and downtime
  • Implement quality control procedures and corrective actions
  • Coordinate with maintenance for machine uptime and preventive maintenance
  • Manage manpower allocation, shifts, and productivity
  • Control material usage, scrap, and production costs
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Review technical drawings, process sheets, and work instructions
  • Coordinate with procurement and stores for material availability
  • Prepare production reports and performance metrics
  • Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
