Job Role :  Production Engineer in a Hydraulic Products Manufacturing Company is responsible for supporting day-to-day production operations by improving manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and achieving production targets. The role involves coordinating with shop-floor teams, implementing process controls, reducing downtime and wastage, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Production Engineer acts as a link between design, production, and quality teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing of hydraulic products. 

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Monitor and support daily production activities on the shop floor
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Assist in production planning and scheduling
  • Analyze production issues and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure quality standards are followed during manufacturing
  • Coordinate with maintenance to reduce machine downtime
  • Optimize processes to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Monitor material usage, scrap levels, and rework
  • Support new product development and process implementation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
  • Prepare production reports and performance data
  • Train operators on processes and work instructions
