Job Role :  Secondary School Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering subject-specific lessons to students in grades 6–12, promoting academic excellence, critical thinking, and personal growth. The role includes assessing student performance, managing classroom behavior, and creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. The Secondary Teacher collaborates with colleagues, school leadership, and parents to ensure students achieve their full potential and develop the skills necessary for higher education and future careers.

Key Responsibilities :  

• Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the school curriculum
• Develop and use teaching materials, technology, and activities suited to secondary students
• Assess, monitor, and report on student performance and progress
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage a positive learning environment
• Identify students’ learning needs and provide additional support where necessary
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and participation in lessons
• Prepare students for examinations and evaluations
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
• Organize and supervise extracurricular and co-curricular activities
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and reports
• Promote social, emotional, and ethical development of students
