Job Role :  Bodyshop Manager at a Hyundai automobile showroom or authorized service center is responsible for managing all body repair and paint operations to ensure high-quality workmanship, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction. This role involves overseeing technicians, estimating repair costs, coordinating with insurance companies, and ensuring compliance with Hyundai bodyshop standards and safety norms. The Bodyshop Manager plays a key role in controlling costs, improving productivity, and maintaining service quality. 

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Manage daily operations of the bodyshop (denting, painting, polishing)
  • Supervise bodyshop technicians, painters, and support staff
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and prepare accurate repair estimates
  • Coordinate with insurance companies for claims, approvals, and surveys
  • Ensure timely completion and delivery of accident repair vehicles
  • Maintain Hyundai bodyshop quality standards and SOPs
  • Monitor productivity, turnaround time, and quality benchmarks
  • Handle escalated customer complaints related to body repairs
  • Control material usage, paint consumption, and repair costs
  • Ensure proper maintenance of bodyshop tools, booths, and equipment
  • Ensure workplace safety and compliance with environmental norms
  • Prepare MIS reports and performance reviews for management
