Job Role :    Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end manufacturing operations in a flexible packaging and commercial printing facility. This role ensures efficient production planning, high-quality output, cost control, safety compliance, and on-time delivery while meeting customer and regulatory requirements. The Plant Manager leads cross-functional teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, maintains equipment and process efficiency, and aligns plant operations with organizational goals for profitability, quality, and sustainability. 

Key Responsibilities : 

•  Manage daily plant operations including printing, lamination, slitting, pouching, finishing, and dispatch
• Ensure production targets are achieved in terms of quantity, quality, cost, and delivery timelines
• Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best manufacturing practices
• Oversee quality control systems to meet customer specifications and industry standards
• Coordinate with sales, planning, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor and control production costs, waste, and material consumption
• Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of printing and converting machinery
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, 5S, TPM, and process optimization
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations
• Lead, train, and motivate plant staff including supervisors, operators, and technicians
• Review production reports, KPIs, and performance metrics regularly
• Handle audits, certifications, and customer inspections
• Support new product development, trials, and process validation
