Quality Control Engineer
Job Role: Quality Control Engineer of a leading Automotive Garage Service Equipment company is responsible for ensuring that all products such as vehicle lifts, wheel alignment systems, tire changers, hydraulic equipment, and other garage tools meet established quality standards and safety regulations. The role involves inspecting raw materials, monitoring fabrication and assembly processes, conducting performance and load testing, and ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Inspect raw materials, components, and finished garage equipment for quality compliance.
- Monitor fabrication, welding, machining, hydraulic assembly, and electrical installations.
- Conduct load testing, safety testing, and performance evaluation of equipment (e.g., car lifts, compressors, wheel balancers).
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and relevant safety regulations.
- Prepare inspection reports, quality documentation, and test certificates.
- Identify defects, root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with production and design teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Perform in-process and final quality audits.
- Monitor supplier quality and evaluate vendor performance.
- Ensure proper calibration of measuring and testing instruments.
- Support installation quality checks at customer sites if required.

- Other Skill Required: Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Experience in manufacturing or assembly of automotive equipment. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality management systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Knowledge of testing procedures and safety standards for lifting equipment. Proficiency in using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges, etc.). Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills. Good documentation and reporting abilities. Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. Strong coordination and communication skills.
