Job Role :  Field Sales & Service Engineer of a leading Automotive Garage Service Equipment company is responsible for promoting, selling, installing, and servicing garage equipment such as vehicle lifts, wheel alignment machines, tire changers, wheel balancers, air compressors, and hydraulic systems. The role combines technical expertise with sales skills to expand the customer base while ensuring excellent after-sales support. The engineer visits client sites, demonstrates equipment, handles technical queries, performs installation and maintenance, and ensures customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :  

  • Promote and sell automotive garage service equipment to workshops, service centers, and dealerships.
  • Identify new business opportunities and achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers.
  • Install, test, and commission equipment at customer locations.
  • Provide after-sales service, troubleshooting, and maintenance support.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
  • Train customers on proper usage and safety procedures of equipment.
  • Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and follow-up with clients.
  • Maintain service reports, installation records, and customer documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, accounts) for smooth order execution.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments where required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and dealers.
