Civil Engineer
Job Role : Civil Engineer in a real estate firm is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and executing construction projects such as residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. The role involves ensuring structural stability, quality construction, compliance with regulations, and timely project completion. A Civil Engineer works closely with architects, project managers, contractors, and site teams to ensure that construction activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and oversee construction and infrastructure projects
- Prepare and review structural drawings and technical designs
- Supervise on-site construction activities
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
- Estimate quantities of materials and prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
- Monitor project progress and prepare reports
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building regulations
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants
- Resolve technical and site-related issues
- Manage material testing and quality assurance procedures
- Assist in cost estimation and budget monitoring
- Verify contractor bills and work measurements
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping
