Job Role :  Mathematics Teacher in a CBSE school is responsible for delivering comprehensive and engaging mathematics instruction in alignment with the guidelines of the Central Board of Secondary Education. The teacher designs lesson plans, explains mathematical concepts clearly, and develops students’ analytical and problem-solving skills. They prepare students for internal assessments and board examinations while fostering logical reasoning and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and deliver mathematics lessons as per CBSE curriculum standards.
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, and assignments.
  • Explain mathematical concepts using practical examples and real-life applications.
  • Conduct regular assessments, tests, and examinations.
  • Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback.
  • Prepare students for periodic assessments and board examinations.
  • Identify slow learners and provide remedial teaching support.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
  • Integrate technology (smart boards, online tools, etc.) into teaching.
  • Maintain academic records and submit reports as required by the school.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school activities.
