Job Role : Assistant Professor of Computer Science (MCA Programme) is responsible for teaching postgraduate students in computer applications, conducting research, and contributing to curriculum development and academic activities. The role involves delivering lectures in core and advanced computer science subjects, guiding student projects and dissertations, mentoring students, and participating in institutional development initiatives. The Assistant Professor is also expected to engage in research, publish scholarly papers, and stay updated with emerging technologies to enhance academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Teach MCA subjects such as Programming, Data Structures, DBMS, AI, Cloud Computing, or Cybersecurity.
- Prepare lesson plans, lab manuals, and instructional materials.
- Conduct practical lab sessions and coding workshops.
- Guide MCA projects, dissertations, and internships.
- Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, and presentations.
- Develop and update syllabus in alignment with industry trends.
- Conduct research and publish papers in reputed journals.
- Participate in curriculum planning and academic committees.
- Organize seminars, technical workshops, and guest lectures.
- Mentor students for placements, hackathons, and competitions.
- Maintain academic records and comply with university regulations.
- Contribute to accreditation and quality assurance processes.
