Senior Engineer
Job Role : Senior Engineer in a construction company is responsible for overseeing and managing on-site engineering activities to ensure projects are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines. The role involves supervising site engineers and supervisors, coordinating with planning, QA/QC, and billing teams, resolving technical issues, and ensuring efficient utilization of manpower and materials. The Senior Engineer plays a key role in maintaining productivity, safety compliance, and overall project performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise daily site activities and ensure work execution as per drawings.
- Coordinate with project manager and other departments for smooth operations.
- Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project schedule.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering guidance on site.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with specifications.
- Manage manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
- Review subcontractor work and certify completed tasks.
- Maintain site records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure implementation of safety standards on site.
