Job Role :  Chief Accountant is responsible for managing the overall accounting operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial control systems. This role oversees bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, tax compliance, budgeting support, and internal audits. The Chief Accountant works closely with senior management to provide financial insights, maintain strong internal controls, and support strategic decision-making while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies. 

Key Responsibilities : 

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff. Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial transactions.
• Implement and maintain strong internal control systems.
• Analyze financial data and provide reports to senior management.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and financial reports.
