Electrical Engineer
Job Role : Electrical Engineer is responsible for planning, installing, maintaining, and monitoring electrical systems across trust-operated facilities such as hospitals, schools, hostels, community centers, and administrative buildings. The role ensures uninterrupted power supply, safety compliance, energy efficiency, and cost-effective electrical operations to support the trust’s social and community service objectives. The Electrical Engineer coordinates with contractors, vendors, and management to execute new projects, maintenance schedules, and electrical upgrades while adhering to statutory safety standards and regulatory norms.
Key Responsbilities :
- Design, install, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to all trust facilities.
- Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical installations.
- Supervise wiring, panels, transformers, generators, and UPS systems.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and documentation.
- Manage electrical project planning and execution.
- Oversee backup power systems and emergency preparedness.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and resolve breakdowns promptly.
- Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for electrical projects.
- Ensure fire safety systems and alarms are functional.
- Support infrastructure development and renovation works.
- Maintain inventory of electrical tools and spare parts.
