Service Advisor
Job Role :Service Advisor in an automobile showroom or service center acts as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop team. They are responsible for understanding customer vehicle issues, providing technical guidance, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The Service Advisor also manages service schedules, estimates, billing, and follow-ups while maintaining smooth communication between clients, technicians, and the management team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet and interact with customers regarding vehicle service needs.
- Record customer complaints and vehicle issues accurately.
- Provide technical advice and suggest appropriate maintenance or repairs.
- Prepare service estimates and communicate costs to customers.
- Schedule service appointments and manage workflow with the workshop team.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs.
- Inspect vehicles to confirm completion of service and quality standards.
- Update customers on service progress and any additional repairs needed.
- Process billing, invoices, and warranty claims.
- Maintain service records and vehicle history documentation.
- Follow up with customers post-service for feedback and satisfaction.
- Promote additional services or accessories to customers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, workshop, and company policies.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and ensuring a positive experience.
- Support showroom or service center management in reporting and process improvement.
