Art & Craft Teacher
Job Role : Art & Craft Teacher is responsible for developing students’ creativity, imagination, and artistic skills through drawing, painting, craftwork, and creative projects. The role includes planning art lessons, teaching various art techniques, organizing exhibitions, and encouraging students to express themselves visually. The teacher helps students understand color theory, design principles, and different craft materials while promoting creativity, patience, and fine motor skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and conduct art and craft classes as per curriculum
- Teach drawing, painting, sketching, and coloring techniques
- Guide students in craft activities using various materials
- Introduce students to different art forms and styles
- Encourage creativity and self-expression
- Organize art exhibitions and display student work
- Prepare students for art competitions and events
- Maintain art supplies and classroom materials
- Ensure safe use of tools and craft equipment
- Assess and evaluate students’ artistic progress
- Develop seasonal and theme-based creative projects
- Maintain attendance and performance records
- Promote cleanliness and discipline in the art room
- Coordinate art activities for school functions
