Job Role :  English Teacher is responsible for developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through structured and engaging lessons. The teacher delivers curriculum-based instruction in grammar, literature, composition, and communication skills while fostering critical thinking and creativity. They create a supportive classroom environment that encourages language development, confidence in communication, and appreciation for literature. The teacher also assesses student progress, provides constructive feedback, and collaborates with parents and staff to support academic growth.

Key Responsibilities :

  •   Plan and deliver English lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
  • Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
  • Guide students in literature studies, including prose, poetry, and drama.
  • Develop students’ speaking and listening abilities through activities and discussions.
  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through tests and assignments.
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve language proficiency.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation.
  • Organize debates, storytelling, and language enrichment activities.
  • Communicate student progress with parents and school administration.
