The Cashier must ensure accuracy in billing high-value jewellery items, follow security procedures, and support the sales team by maintaining proper transaction documentation. Strong numerical skills, honesty, and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
  • Generate bills, invoices, and receipts for customer purchases.
  • Maintain daily cash register and ensure proper cash reconciliation.
  • Verify pricing, discounts, and tax calculations.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds as per company policy.
  • Maintain records of transactions and prepare daily sales reports.
  • Ensure security of cash and confidential financial information.
  • Coordinate with management for any discrepancies.
  • Provide courteous and professional service at checkout.
