Job Role : Librarian is responsible for managing and maintaining the library resources to support the academic and research needs of BBA and MBA students and faculty members. The Librarian organizes books, journals, research papers, and digital resources related to management and business studies. The role includes assisting students and faculty in locating information, maintaining library records, and ensuring proper use of library materials. The Librarian also manages digital libraries, updates learning resources, and creates a conducive environment for reading, research, and academic learning within the institute.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and organize books, journals, and digital resources in the library.
- Assist students and faculty in locating study materials and research information.
- Maintain records of library books, issues, and returns.
- Update and acquire new books, journals, and learning resources.
- Maintain digital library systems and online databases.
- Ensure proper cataloguing and classification of library materials.
- Maintain discipline and a proper study environment in the library.
- Conduct library orientation programs for students.
- Coordinate with faculty for required academic resources.
- Prepare reports on library usage and inventory.
