Extension Officer
Job Role : Extension Officer is responsible for promoting the company’s products and educating farmers on proper livestock nutrition and management practices. They work directly with farmers, dairy owners, and rural communities to increase awareness, improve animal productivity, and build strong customer relationships. The role involves field visits, demonstrations, and providing technical guidance to ensure effective use of cattle feed products.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct field visits to farmers and dairy farms
- Promote cattle feed products and explain their benefits
- Provide guidance on animal nutrition and feeding practices
- Organize farmer meetings, training sessions, and demonstrations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and dealers
- Collect market feedback and report to management
- Support sales team in achieving targets
- Monitor livestock health and productivity improvements
- Assist farmers in solving feeding and management issues
- Maintain records of field activities and farmer interactions
- Coordinate with distributors and retailers
- Conduct product trials and demonstrations in the field
- Increase brand awareness in rural areas
- Identify new market opportunities
