A-Grade Wireman – Sugar Factory
Job Role : The A-Grade Wireman is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical wiring systems, equipment, and panels in the sugar factory. The role demands technical skill, safety awareness, and compliance with statutory electrical rules as per the Electrical Licensing Board (A-Grade Certificate).
Key Responsibilities: Install and maintain industrial wiring, control panels, lighting, and earthing systems across the factory premises. Carry out troubleshooting and fault-finding in electrical circuits, motors, and equipment. Supervise and guide junior electricians and helpers during wiring and maintenance jobs. Inspect and test HT/LT panels, MCCs, PCCs, and switchgear systems for safety and performance. Perform preventive maintenance of motors, starters, and distribution lines during the crushing season and off-season.
