Account Assistant
Job Role : Account Assistant supports the finance and accounting department by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations in an industrial company setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and bank deposits
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts
- Assist in payroll processing and employee expense claims
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare basic financial reports and statements
- Coordinate with auditors and assist during audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations
- Handle petty cash and office-related financial transactions
- Support senior accountants in budgeting and cost control
