Account Assistant
Job Role : Account Assistant in an automobile showroom is responsible for supporting the finance and accounts department by managing daily accounting operations, bookkeeping, invoicing, and payment tracking. The role ensures accurate financial record-keeping, assists in budgeting, reconciliations, and reporting, and helps maintain compliance with tax and company policies. The Account Assistant also coordinates with vendors, banks, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain day-to-day financial records and bookkeeping
- Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and cash transactions
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Track customer payments and follow up on pending dues
- Coordinate with vendors for timely payments
- Support payroll processing and employee expense management
- Maintain financial files and documentation accurately
- Assist in budget preparation and cost control measures
- Handle taxation documentation and compliance support
- Prepare reports for management review
- Support audits and internal control procedures
- Coordinate with back-office and sales teams for financial data
- Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and procedures
