Job Role : Account Assistant is responsible for supporting the accounting department by handling day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records of receipts and payments, assisting in bookkeeping and data entry, preparing vouchers and invoices, and ensuring proper documentation of all financial activities. The role includes assisting in bank reconciliations, monitoring expenses, managing petty cash, and supporting the preparation of financial reports and audits. The Account Assistant also ensures compliance with organizational financial policies and helps maintain transparency and accuracy in all accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
  • Maintain records of receipts, payments, and vouchers.
  • Perform data entry in accounting systems.
  • Assist in bank reconciliation statements.
  • Support preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Handle invoices, billing, and payment follow-ups.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
  • Assist in audit preparation and documentation.
  • Track expenses and support budget monitoring.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial data entry.
  • Coordinate with other departments for financial information.
  • Support tax-related documentation and compliance tasks.
  • Monitor petty cash transactions.
