Account Clerk

Job Role : Account Clerk supports the finance and accounts department of an engineering college by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring proper documentation of all transactions. 

Key Responsibilities :
Maintain and update ledgers, accounts, and financial records
Record day-to-day financial transactions such as fees collection, payments, and reimbursements
Prepare and verify invoices, receipts, and vouchers
Assist in fee processing, scholarships, and student accounts management
Reconcile bank statements and cash balances Assist senior accountants in preparing monthly and annual financial reports
Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounts and receipts
Support audits and compliance-related activities
Coordinate with other departments regarding financial matters
